Looking toward 2016
It’s been a weird year both personally and in gaming.
I think I may initially have bitten off more than I could chew with the scope of this site and what I wanted to do with it and posting to it has suffered because of that.
So over the last few months I’ve been developing a plan on how to make this (and other) blogs work better.
The initial push for this site is to get the rest of the FFG Store Championship details listed, then to complete the work on Malifaux Rankings.
After that on of the main thrusts of the blog will to be to follow my development as a painter, I have 60 Chaos Cultists from the Dark Vengeance box set to practice on before I let myself near any of the games I really want to play.
I can paint away at these knowing that they are Chaos Cultists and therefore are meant to look bad 😉
I will be adding content to the game listing pages as I go along, concentrating on the games I actually own to begin with, and this will include reviews and resources for other players. So to begin the listing pages will only list games I own, and eventually games with information on that I don’t own.
I will be looking at starting a Patreon campaign to help fund this site and my time so that I can work on it more consistently and provide more resources, but that is just at the initial ‘let’s look at Patreon’ stage at the moment.
I would also like to get other bloggers producing content for the site and will be talking to other people to see if they want to be part of the site (or at least let me put their content on the site).
So the New Year is going to be very busy for me and the site, getting content up and into a rhythm of producing content on a regular basis.
There will also be more posts about the actual games I play; match reports, product reviews and news.
So the New Year is going to bring renewed activity to the blog.
I hope everyone has a great New Year and a wonderful 2016.
