I know these are not essential but I’ve always liked the little add-ons and paraphernalia that comes with our hobbies and this seems like a perfect one to add to that collection.
This isn’t completely funded yet and has 12 days to go, so if you like what you see get on in there.
I remember playing Delta Green in much earlier version of Cthulhu and it was fun (though I did prefer the earlier, classic Cthulhu settings) and made for some great campaigns and changes in Modern History.
Lovecraftian cosmic terror meets the War on Terror. The award-winning RPG setting comes thundering back in a new Cthulhu Mythos game.
This is completely funded and has 17 days to go.

And if we get that far, we have a lot more to come….
Folklore the Affliction is a dark fantasy role playing board game for 1-5 players that does not require a game master. Adventure in a land steeped in fear, myth and superstition. Hunt or be hunted by creatures of antiquity and legend. Explore dangerous locales to find clues to the sources of evil sinking claws into the heart of the land, and decimating the populace. Defend the weak from the scourge of witchcraft and the demonic, the taint of lycanthropy and vampirism. Advance through highly immersive stories of epic scale with multi-layer character development in an on-going quest to drive the darkness back into the hell from which it came.
I always liked boardgames like Dungeonquest which tried to put the RPG into board games, with quests, monsters and treasures.
This looks really interesting with lots of models, which from the renders look as though they will be beautiful and when painted really add to the atmosphere of the game.
This has 15 days to go but, thankfully, is fully pledged.
I could just leave it there because, Ninjas…
But seriously I’ve always loved Ninja RPGs, when we could get Eastern Realms into AD&D I was over the moon, when we found Rokugan it was almost perfect, almost as perfect as GURPS TMNT.
This though looks like a professional game with some lovely art.
Ninja Crusade 2nd Edition is a corebook, meaning it will contain all of the rules you need to create characters and play the game. This includes:
10 ninja clans to pick from (plus an 11th clanless option)
Detailed history of the Ninja and the Izou Empire
Lifepath-style character creation system
Brand new d10 mechanics, redesigned from the ground up to bring stunning ninja action to your table
Opponent systems making it easy for GameMasters (GMs) to come up with enemies on the fly
New Dynamic Environments that make your choice of terrain a real part of the fight.
Plenty of advice on how to run the game
The final product is estimated to be 8.5 x 11, 240 pages, hardcover, black & white interior art, selling for $40 when it hits the markets. We have the amazing Daniel Wong (http://oshouki.com) who will be tackling the majority of the artwork for the book itself. We are honored to have such a talent to bring this awesome game to life.
Hey Eloy, Why is this Kickstarter Goal higher than your others?
We are taking a different approach with Ninja Crusade 2nd Edition.
1. First, in the past, expenses were kept to a minimum because I wrote the majority of the game myself. This time we have an amazing team of writers, who would all like to get paid.
2. We are entering a new 8.5×11 Hardcover market. Third Eye Games has been dipping its toe in with past releases, but we are going all in and making all of the books hardcover this time. We’re doing an offset run to up the quality of the books for everyone involved, but this also requires a larger upfront investment vs. the PoD route we’ve taken in the past. The hope is that this new edition will also be packed with way more material than 1st Edition, which means higher word counts and higher expenses. The end result will be a better book all around.
3. Lastly, while the 1st Edition book is great, it was created on a shoe-string budget, and we really want this game to shine. We’re investing a large part of the Kickstarter goal (about 1/3) to pumping this book full of amazing art to really drive home the themes, moods and action of Ninja Crusade 2nd Edition. We hope you have faith that we will deliver an awesome product you will feel very happy to have backed.
This has 24 days to go and is almost funded, so a great time to get pledging.
